1. Agreement

By accessing or using Mahjong Hand at https://mahjonghand.com, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What we provide

Mahjong Hand offers tools to build mahjong hand images, storyboard sequences, and related learning content. The service is intended for education, teaching, and creative work — not for gambling, real-money play, or casino operations.

We are not a mahjong game, solitaire app, or betting platform. Tile art and patterns are provided for illustration and learning purposes.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
  • Google sign-in is subject to Google's terms in addition to these Terms.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful purposes or to harass others
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, quotas, or rate limits
  • Scrape, overload, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Upload or generate content that infringes others' intellectual property
  • Misrepresent the service as gambling, wagering, or official tournament software

5. Your content and exports

You retain rights to hands and exports you create. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your saved drafts and favorites solely to operate the service (for example, syncing your library).

Tile art packs may include third-party or open-licensed assets; respect the license terms shown on the Download page when redistributing tiles or derivatives.

6. AI features

AI-generated hands or explanations may be inaccurate. They are aids for learning and creation, not authoritative rules rulings. You are responsible for verifying hands against your ruleset before publishing or teaching.

Usage limits may apply; see in-product messaging for current quotas.

7. Intellectual property

The Mahjong Hand name, site design, software, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or reverse-engineer the service except as allowed by law.

8. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100. THE SERVICE IS CURRENTLY OFFERED WITHOUT PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS; CLAUSE (B) APPLIES UNLESS WE INTRODUCE PAID PLANS IN THE FUTURE.

10. Changes and termination

We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. You may stop using the service at any time.

11. Governing law
